Re: Mississippi DUI law

The enhancement of DUI offenses are hinged on a 5 year period of time. They are also dependant upon convictions and not just arrestes so, 2 convictions in 5 years and a 3rd arrest within 5 years from the first one would subject you to a felony charge of DUI. They will remain on your record for at least 5 years for these enhancement purposes, also any DUI (not just Mississippi) can be used to enhance future charges.

The only thing I could add would be that they stay on insurance records for 3 years.
