what aer the legal rights of wife to the home when she finds that her husband has had an affair while married?

I would say you have a right to make him as miserable as possible. As for the home, this would be up to the Chancellor to decide. If you get the house, can you afford it? You need to contact a family law attorney right away. You may even have a tort action against the girlfriend.
