Do you have to put the father's name on the baby's birth certificate? if not can you still get child support from the father?

YES IF IT IS KNOWN. AND YOU CAN GET SUPPORT FROM THE FATHER WHETHER OR NOT HIS NAME IS ON THE CERTIFICATE.
