Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Mississippi
i need to break my lease
bottom line is i moved in with two friends..my name and hers were put on the lease...she started doing drugs,so i moved out and in with my boyfriend b/c he came home early from duty in Iraq.. but they won't pay the rent so i have been payingit on my own for the last 2 months and i don't even live there plus they have gotten a dog and it specifically states in the lease no pets..can i legally break my lease or if i stop paying the rent,what can the landlord do to me and in what time frame can he do it..thank you so much for your help...

NO you need to negotiate a release from your LL. Call for assistance. I have been a LL for 25 yrs.
