Legal Question in Traffic Law in Mississippi
speeding ticket
i got a ticket of a 130 in a 70 and i am not sure what to do. I told the officer that i had to get to work thats way i was going fast. He took me to jail. On the papers that he gave the court, a friend of mine said he put ''want to show friends how fast his car goes'' im not sure what to do and my court date is march 20th

Your explanation is not really going to matter unless your are in the emergency services industry. You will need to combat the certification and calibration of the officer and machine. Otherwise, pay the fine and don't lose more money by taking off of work to go to court.
