Re: heir property

Your option is either to buy the other heirs out

(with whatever extra inducements that that may require)or keep careful records of all the taxes

you've paid and other costs you've born in order to maintain the property and then, at the appropriate time, engage the services of local counsel in the city or county where the property is located to file suit in your behalf to have

the property partitioned and, if necessary, sold by court order with the proceeds of the sale going to all legitimate heirs in proportion to their respective inheritance shares minus or plus whatever other costs/expenses from each which are required to achieve an equitable result. (At this point you would be reimbursed for any of your disproportionate costs which you bore in paying the taxes and maintaining the property.)
