Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Missouri

Trial De Novo

I won my judgement in small claims for $1800. It was appealed and then heard in a higher court. I appeared for the Tial De Novo and the company showed up, but with out a layer. Because the company did not appear with a lawyer the judge could not hear his testomony or evidence. (Company filed against me) The judge heard my case and found in my favor. Can he appeal this again??

Re: Trial De Novo

There are a few avenues by which a losing litigant can appeal, or have set aside, a circuit or associate circuit decision,. They are too numerous to describe without knowing any of the facts of your particular case. The good news for you is that most avenues require that they pay the judgment first or obtain a bond to cover it.

Good Luck
