Re: Bond Liability

Generally speaking, once a bond is posted it must remain in effect until the pending case is concluded. This happens after a plea is entered and the defendant is sentenced, after a conviction and sentencing following trial, after an acquittal or after a case is dismissed. It may also be possible to file a Motion at any time seeking to modify the terms of the bond, I hope that this has been helpful for you and I wish you the best of luck.
