Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
Gun Charges
While on probation for drug charges, I was charged with shooting a firearm in city limits. I was wondering if I plead guilty to state charges, can the feds persue down the road?

Re: Gun Charges
If you are on probation, the odds are that you are prohibited from having a firearm. If you plead guilty to the crime of firing a firearm within city limits then you are admitting to violating your probation, and it is likely that there will be a petition to revoke your probation. Do not plead guily. Hire an attorney.
