Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
after surrendering investment property in bankruptcy and receiving paperwork from mortgage holder, stating that they are the owner of record, and all inquiries should be directed to them. I was subpeoned to appear in court fro tall grass/weeds and ordered to mow it within 24hrs or go to jail. The prosecutor said that county records still show us as owner and until that changes we are responsible. Is this accuracte?
