Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Mother moving with child to another State

My 10 year old daughters Mother is looking at taking another job 1300 miles away. We currently live 10 miles from each other and have a good visitation plan 2 school nights/week and every other weekend with me. The Mother does have primary custody per court papers.

Is there anything I can do to stop here from moving and taking my daughter 1300 miles away?

Yes- You may be able to maintain a godd visitation schedule, but you may not be able to prevent the mother from moving. This is one of those situations where you need to contact an attorney in your area soon. They may be able to have the Visitation and support Order modified to your satisfaction. Don't delay.
