Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Missouri

property

I have been living with a man for over 11 years. We have property in my name and his name and he is leaving me tomorrow. I don't want him to be able to come back here. He is a violent man and I am scared of him. Is there any way to keep him off the property after he has left? Please send responses to my email only thank you Robyn

Re: property

I am so sorry to hear of your situation.

You have mis-categorized your question. This belongs under FAMILY LAW or DOMESTIC VIOLENCE or even REAL PROPERTY. "Intellectual property" is patents, trademarks, copyrights, things like that. It has nothing to do with houses and land and the law of trespass. A lawyer who would handle your matter would not even be aware of your question because intellectual property is such a subspecialty in the law that most lawyers have nothing to do with it.

You should REPOST your question under one of the suggested legal areas to get the attention of the lawyers you need to hear from.

Good luck.
