Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Missouri

I have a small recycling business in the U.S . I have found a way to make a glue out of one of my by-products. The glue has been around for several years(pipe joining glue) is it legal for me to bottle it and sell?

Probably. However, specifics are needed to know for sure. I suppose you think it may have some hazardous materials or you would not be asking your question. So, there may be certain labeling requirements such as warnings, and there may be waste disposal concerns. You need to get with an environmental attorney for a consult if your are doing this in any significant volume. Consider the consult a cost of business and an investment is preventing trouble down the road. You do not want to have this on the market before you resolve any hazmat issues and regs.
