Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri

I want off this loan!

I am the primary borrower on a loan with my ex-boyfriend (co-borrower). He is the only one that lives in the house and is the only one making payments. I want to get my name off of the loan so I can buy my own house. Do I have any options?

You may have to sell the house, or have your ex-boyfriend get refinanced on his own. If he refuses to (or cannot) then you may have to seek an action to have the property partitioned. This will not in itself get you off the loan, but may get him to get new financing.
