Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri
Meeting Minutes from the meeting of Declarant Turnover to the association states that
He resigned from the Board of Directors and an as Officer also states that
Declarant Resigned from the Association �
Does that even make sense? Is it legal to Resign from the Association itself and if you choose to Resign from the association itself as a Home Owner how does that effect things? I tried to find something that halfway would point me in the right direction can�t find anything in the RCW�s or Governing Documents that makes sense.
Also in our Documents All Unit Owners=Association=Board=Board of Directors=those who appoint Directors�Since he Resigned from not only the Board of Directors but the �association� as well Does he still have a voting right?

He cannot resign from the Homeowners Association if the covenants of the subdivision say that all owners will be members and pay dues. The dues are still owed. The association can sue him and put a lien on his house if he doesn't pay.
