Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

Recording a will

Is there a time lime to record a will after the death? My father passed away 8/08 and I have not filed his will. Is it too late?

First, I am sorry for your loss. You have one year from the date of death to file the Will. Have you consulted with an attorney? If not, you probably should do so as soon as you are able. An attorney should be able to walk you through the legal process and provide legal services if needed.
