Legal Question in DUI Law in Montana

crossing the border with an mip

I got an mip in montana a couple of weeks ago. My friends and I want to go to

Canada, but I was once told that if you have an mip, you can't cross the border.

I just want to know if this is true, and if I'll be allowed to cross the border.

Re: crossing the border with an mip

Some border crossings are difficult if one has a DUI. A "rehabilitation fee" can be paid to make the crossing possible. With respect to a MIP, I have no knowledge of the process or even if it is a problem. Call the Canadian consulate, that's my suggestion. Good Luck.
