adult paternity

i was contacted by a woman who claims to be my sister. can i take her to court to make her take a paternity test?

Why would you?

If she's claiming the right to some estate or property, then that's one thing. Something for the lawyers. If your mother or father's name is on her birth certificate, then what's the problem? Especially, if it's your mother's name.

On the other hand, if all she wants is a relationship, then you should be able to talk about it like adults.
