Legal Question in Insurance Law in Nebraska

stolen

Truck was stolen and has been recovered but it is totaled. The insurance company is saying that the truck is theirs and we are not able to keep it. They keep calling and wanting to tow it but we just sent the paperwork in and are waiting for a response to see what we are getting back. Shouldnt we be able to keep the truck without being penalized for it? I thought that it was legally ours since it is under our name and not the insurance companys. Also, we pay for insurance shouldnt anything that was in the truck when it was stolen be replaced?

I believe I have answered some of your questions earlier. Regarding personal property inside the truck that was stolen, if your policy includes that property, you should be reimbursed for it. Present evidence of the value of this property to the insurance company and they should reimburse you for it. I hope that I have answered your question.
