Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Nevada

Atlantis Casino survellence has confirmed a man and woman entering & exiting hotel room then tracked them to casino floor where the male suspect began playing slot machines with a "club paradise card".

They the casino said it is up to us to actively pursue this with local sheriffs' dept & file a report.

The security mananger advised us to "pester the sheriffs' ofc to obtain surv. video "

my husband has filed a report

My question now Will the casino pursue charges against these individules?

I guess the Casino will get their justice.

How do we get ours.

pursue identifying individules in survellence video & have the sheriff make an arrest?

Were they guests? How many others rooms were broken into?

I guess this would fall under criminal law?

Guess I'm just pissed off that they the Casino could careless about their patrones being voilated in thier hotel and more about the bottom line $$$. The ironey is my husband would have gambled but he got robbed before he had a chance.

Out $800.00 bucks and didn't even get to turn a card, roll a dice, or place a bet!!

It';s up to you to file a police report etc. My guess is that Reno Police - at the Atlantis it's still in the city limits - won't do anything. You're tourists so I doubt they care. You could pester them. But watch the T.V. Show Reno 911 and you'll see the cops in Reno are clowns.
