Legal Question in Consumer Law in Nevada

Co-signing on a car loan

I made the mistake of co-signing on a car loan for daughter (#1) - SHE made a written & notarized agreement with her sister (daughter #2) .. Daughter #2 now decided that she couldnt afford the payments, and the car needs some work - so daugher #2 said she wasnt going to make any more payments and just let the bank reposess the car - instead daughter #1 went and took the car back - now daughter #2 says she is going to sue ME & daughter #1 - since I didnt sign or agree to THEIR agreement, can she sue me!?

Re: Co-signing on a car loan

No. You were only the guarantor. Why would you have to agree to their agreement? The better question is why would a daughter sue her father?
