Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Nevada

Debts upon death

If I leave a will or living trust giving a son power of attorney, will that make him liable for my outstanding debts (credit cards, etc.)upon my death? I am a widower and live alone. What happens to those debts if I don't leave a will?

Re: Debts upon death

Your estate will be responsible for any debts subject to the amount of the value of your estate. Your son's power of attorney expires on your death.
