Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada

criminal

I was at 24 Hour Fitness working out on 6/27/08 from 11:30 pm - 1:30 pm and my car window was smashed out and items stolen out of my car. The police officer stated that many cars have had this same problem there and I wanted to know if a 24 hour business expects customers to go there shouldn't they make sure it is safe? If I had to pay for my window and lost over $1000 out of my a/c and many expensive items in my purse that were stolen from the trunk shouldn't they be responsibe? The cameras on the building do not show the entire parking lot and that is why the police officer said they were having problems catching the criminals. Not one thing was posted in the health club to warn customers...many other club member have had this problem also.
