Fake ID

I was pulled over and arrested for DUI, but while i was being arrested they found a fake ids in my car, several were mine and one was someone elses, but they only wrote down misdemeanor possesion fake id charge on my arrest paper. Is it possible for them to change the charges since I had so many ids without my real name, and I wanna know if the evidence (ids) will be shown on my court date? Will they ask me where I got them, if so what should I say, my friend told me to say that I got them from a website. I know what the consequinces im facing for the DUI but Im worried about the fake id part.

Unless the IDs involve credit cards I would not worry about them. They will not be pulled out at your court date as they are irrelevant to the DUI charge. Possession of credit cards of another is a felony however.
