Legal Question in Entertainment Law in Nevada

''Small claims court''

If I purchased a boat in Las Vegas, and the boat is registered in California, and I need to take the seller to small claims court, do I need to file the suit where I purchased the boat, or can i file it where I reside?

Thank you.
