Child Support

If a parent who is paying child support retires and the children are now receiving social security benefits, does the parent still have to pay child support?

Many questions must be answered before a response can be given.

What are the ages of the children? How much are the social security benefits? When did the ex-spouse retire? How old was the spouse at retirement? What was his income before retirement?

When was the latest support order entered by the Court?
