Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

is this fair?

Is it fair that in a joint custody situation, that one parent were to keep information from the other?

Information such as: their home telephone number? Their street address? The child isn't allowed to tell the other parent information in fear he'll get in trouble.

Re: is this fair?

It's funny you should ask this because my license plate reads "No Fare." Fairness is not the issue, whether or not you chose to pursue this as a violation of the joint parenting plan is something that is entirely up to you. You may be able to obtain some kind of punishment for this behavior including, but not limited to an award of legal fees, additional visitation with the child, or even a change of custody.

If you would like a personal consultation, my practice is in Clark County. I would be happy to consider taking on your case.
