Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

i just filed for full legal and physical custody with no visitation for my 2 children.... thier father has been absent for 5 yrs now and has never made a child support payment ever .I have been the sole provider for my children since birth. i summited with my complaint full documentation from the DA that he is unreachable plus notorized statements from friends and family stating the same thing. Plus i have letters from thier teachers and sports coaches and doctors that im the only parent that they have had contact with or that has been involved .Also i provided pictures to show the fun things we do together like vacations and holidays and good positive family contacts. and letters that show long term employment and living quarters also that are all provided by me . So im wondering since im representing myself.... was it wise that i provided all this documentation .....and will it show that im serious about the best interest of my children. I wanted the judge to see that i dont care about the money from child support but that the best life for my children is what is most important to me.

Actually it sounds like you are going for sole physical and sole legal custody. You did not mention terminating his parental rights. For $50 to $100 you can get a Las Vegas family attorney to do a basic consultation to review your paperwork.
