Grandparents rights

i have 2 grandchildren. there parents are divorced.their father remarried and decided to terminate his parental rights so he shouldnt have to pay child support,but my daughter their mother refused to allow him to do it so he has to pay child support. they have been fighting in court,and the next date is feb 17. now my daughter decided that she dosent want to be a mother either, and is leaving town with out the kids she signed a letter stating that she is giving me legal rights to the kids.can i go to court and get the child support for the kids? and can the courts take them and give them to their daD,they dont want to leave us (my husband and I) I know we need an attorney but we cant afford one.my husband is out of work and we have been supporting my daughter and her kids. please help I dont know what to do.if we have to give them to their dad,it will kill us and our grandchildren.

You may Petition the Family Court to become the childrens Guardians and may obtain child support from both the mother and the father. If you cannot afford an attorney you can contact the Clark County Pro Bono Project at 702 386-1070.
