Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Harrassment by family members

I have a sister who keeps contacting my children who are minors. This is being done against my wishes. Is there any thing that I can do legally to prevent this? Is this something that would be worthy of the issuance of a Restraining Order by a Judge if requested?

Go to Family Court and apply for a Temporary Protective Order.

Re: Harrassment by family members

Thank you for your inquiry.

If your children are minors and you are providing their primary custodial care you could file a Petition with Clark County Family Court for a Temporary Protective Order (TPO) prohibiting your sister from contacting your children.

My office routinely handles such matters; should you wish to schedule a free consultation contact my office at your convenience.
