Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Hold on joint petition divorce

After being separated for a year, my husband and I filed a joint petition for divorce a week ago. But for the first time since our separation, we've both agreed that we want to try to reconcile.

Is there any way that we can put the petition on hold for maybe a month to see if we actually have a chance of working things out?

I URGENTLY NEED AN ANSWER, AS THE FINAL DECREE SHOULD BE READY IN ANOTHER WEEK OR TWO!

THANKS!!

Re: Hold on joint petition divorce

You need to contact the law clerk for the Department the case is assigned to and ask them to hold the Decree for pickup or mail it back to you.
