Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Need to throw 17 yr old out. What's parental rights?

My 17 yr old son won't get a job. When he does, he quits in a month or two. I can't keep him in school. He should be a senior this year but he's still a sophmore. After threatening to kill himself, I tried to have him evaluated for drug rehab which was supposed to take 3 days. He was released within 12 hrs and told to make an appt. to see a therapist. After seeing a therapist for the last 5 mos. he was recently diagnosed as having manic bipolar deficiency. He's in denial, refusing medication and now any further therapy. I am being forced to move in 2 mos due to sale of house in divorce settlement. I feel I no longer can control him and I do not want him to live with me when I have to move to a new place. What are my options and rights as far as being responsible for his actions this close to him becoming 18? I need to throw him out so I can get on and do the things I need to with the divorce and sale of the house.

If you throw out your 17 year old you could be charged with neglect. Parent is obligated to child until he is 18.
