Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

visitation

Clark County NV. awarded my exwife a visit for the summer. The order states that she is to buy the plane tickets and inform me of the flight times and #'s. She has waited now 4 days before the order date, but she said there is no flight info. because she is picking them up instead. Vegas to Central Oregon is a 15 hour drive. This is not what the court minutes say. It clearly states, ''Assuming Plantiff passes ATI and OPTIONS, she will have visitation with the children from June 15, 2004 to August 1, 2004. Parties will equally divide the travel costs. Plantiff will make the arrangements and prepay the airline tickets. Defendant will immediately reimburse her.'' Is this ok? Has she not changed the court order? Is any one allowed to side step a court order and change the ordered arrangements?

Thank you Paul Andresen

Re: visitation

A parent is not allowed to unilaterally change a Court Order. She needs to go to Court to get permission to drive rather than to fly.
