Mailing a Judge
Would it be okay to write a formal letter to a Judge in a civil case to thank and express ones feelings. The verdict has been read although it is still in settlement proceedings.

Mr. Cohen is correct, but you can speak well of that judge to everyone until you can thank the judge.
