Legal Question in Personal Injury in Nevada

limo driver medical condition caused near accident

while riding as a passenger in the backseat of a paid limo driver's vehicle outside of vegas, my friend and i noticed his driving becoming erratic. when the limo driver was given verbal questions from both of us, he did not respond. he decreased in speed, hit two reflective post markers and was driving into oncoming traffic. As he was approaching veering off into the burn and the desert, I jumped into front passenger seat, put the car in drive, brought the vehicle to a stop and removed the keys from the ignition. The driver exited the vehicle, appeared disoriented and sat down on the ground. The police/medics were called. The driver/vehicle were checked for sobriety/drugs by the police and cleared. the medics assessed the driver. He was later transported to the hospital and i dont know the outcome of the final tests. Can the company be held liable in anyway for a near catastrophic situation and providing a driver who should not be behind the wheel of a vehicle?

Re: limo driver medical condition caused near accident

The answer is yes - negligent entrustment. The bigger question is whether you and/or your friend sustained any injuries. Unless you have damages, there is no case.
