Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada

Leasing by owner while having an agent

I have a rental property in Las Vegas, which is currently vacant. My property manager has been working on leasing for almost 3 months but she hasn't found a tentant. I told her that I would like to advertise it myself as well. She told me that I had to put her name and her company name in my ad to make it legal. I thought I can run my own ad as the owner without their name.

Do I really need my agent's name and her company name for my rental ad to be legal???

You can run the ad in your name. The reason that they are telling you this is so that they can make their commission. I would need to see your contract to determine if they earn their commission if you were the one that found the new tenant.
