Re: Nevada Workers compensation

In Nevada workers' compensation there is no statute of limitation per se. What matters are your so-called appeal rights. Appeal rights are generated whenever the wc insurer renders a determination in writing(e.g. sends you a letter informing you that your claim has been denied or your claim will be closed). You have seventy days from the date of a determination letter to file an appeal with the Nevada Dept. of Administration. The determination letter is supposed to explain your appeal rights. The appeal deadline is critical, as a failure to appeal within the required timeframe can mean that you permanently miss out on benefits under workers' compensation.
