Named as a defendant

Acting as an employee of a DBA in NH I entered into an agreement with a newspaper for monthly advertisments.

The DBA didn't pay the bill.

Am I responsible for this contract?

I believe you are improperly named as a defendant based on the facts as you describe them, and so long as you were acting at the direction of your employer or within the scope of your employment when you entered into the contract with the newspaper.
