Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Hampshire

I rented a house with a year's lease. The town informed me the landlord cannot rent the property for one year as it is seasonal property only. The property needs to be vacant from Oct. 14-April 30th. Is this lease still legal?

Assuming the landlord knew about the seasonal use of the property, you should be able to avoid the terms of the lease. You may have rights to seek compensation for relocation due to the landlord's actions.
