Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Hi, in 2004 I admitted to a crime in US in the state of New Jersey. Two of the crimes were 4th degree and one was 3rd degree. At that time I was on F-1 student status. I worked with the public defender, enlisted in pre-trial intervention program and the charges were dismissed when I finished the program. I completed my degree, worked under Optional Practical Training and then did a Masters as well. However, I did not leave the country during that time.
After my Masters I got a job in a different country and moved. I applied for a US tourist visa and was denied based on the previous stated charges. I was told to check back as they were contacting lawyers in DC. It seems I may not be able to ever apply for a US visa again. Is this correct? They also said it may just be that I get a visa for one year at a time. Which one is more likely based on my situation. Any information would be helpful.

You have a serious problem, and you need a serious criminal defense and immigration attorney.
I strongly recommend that you call my friend Jerry Gonzalez Esq. He is a brilliant, and I mean brilliant immigration attorney who has great criminal defense experience too.
Jerry (Jerard A.) Gonzalez, Esq.

You will need to hire him to solve your problem; he will not be able to solve this over the phone for free.
If I can help you, let me know.
I am not an immigration attorney. I am a criminal lawyer. I can have your arrest records expunged. You will have to see an immigration lawyer about the immigration problem. You might call Melvin Solomon, Esquire who has an office on Main Street in Hackensack.
Call me if you like.
