You could be looking at jail time. I suggest you call a lawyer right away. While I do handle DWI, this week I'm a little busy so I would probably refer you to a friend of mine. Call me at 732/773/2768 for the info.
Heavy fines and state surcharges, mandatory jail time, mandatory community service, mandatory two year loss of license, mandatory DWI schooling. I strongly recommend that you hire a lawyer if you can afford one. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Jail time is not the problem. The penalties for dwi are harsh and most judges do not give jail time, unless it is the third dwi offense and a conviction for same requires six months in jail.
The penalties are two years loss of license, fines and other assessments totalling approximately
$700.00, possible suspension of your vehicle registration and the requirement that a governor be placed on your car engine so that it will not start if you have been drinking alcohol
The penalties are severe and you should have a careful analysis of your case by an experienced
dwi/trial attorney.
Call me if you like.
