A very strange question. You want to wait to see what happens to you, as opposed to controlling and influencing what happens to you. NOW is when you need to need to get your ass in gear. Hire an attorney to deal with the prosecutor's office to mitigate the charges against you. 201/342/7933.

If you want to wait and see, it will be weeks before your case has a court date, if you are lucky and the prosecutor wants a preindictment conference to see about early resolution of your case. If he does it means an opportunity to avoid serious consequences in your case. If the prosecutor sees you as a dirt bag, he will wait months to formally charge you with an indictment returned by the Bergen County Grand Jury.
