Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

fed ex

I just moved in my new apt and one week later a pack frm fed ex comes to my door with someone elses name I did not sign or show my ID idid not even touch it and the fed ex officer still arrest me is this legal?

It really depends on the facts. If you were the target, the facts may support your arrest. I imagine the package contained contraband, and this might have been a federal investigation. You should contact an attorney as soon as possible. Feel free to give our offices a call.

If you didn't even touch the package, you did nothing wrong. But of course, I'm sure they have a different story. I would call a good attorney ASAP.
