Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Does Alimony/Child support payment have to go through probation?

I am in agreement with my ex wife that we do not wish to have the Child support and Alimony garnishment go through NJ Probation. She has a problem with them and timely payments. I am agreeing to pay her directly. She was told that this was against the law. Can we do this and how.

She is entitled to have probation collect the money or even a wage execution IF SHE WANTS IT.
