Spousal affair

When I was nine months pregnant I caught my husband having an affair. We decided to seek counseling and save the marriage. However, the affair continued. My question is other than Divorce are there any Laws to protect my marriage and the emotional stress this has caused me. Do I have any Legal rights regarding the third person involved. If not how could I persue this issue and make people aware that there should be laws or something to protect the spouse that is being cheated on.

It's a long shot, but you could try to sue the correspondent for tortious interference with your marriage. However, I doubt any lawyer would take the case on contingency. Call my colleague, Jane Herchenroder, a matrimonial specialist in Somerville, at 908-231-9222 and ask her opinion.
