Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

a soon to be ex wife of a friend of mie has knowledge of soon to be ex husband violating restraining order. ( has video) she is going to use this info to blackmail soon to be ex husband to get what she wants from divorce. just the word blackmail tells me its all wrong. what can i do? or what should she know before she does this. soon to be ex husband does not know there is video of his violation. am i breaking the law by not telling him? what to do?

I would advise the husband to a get a lawyer ASAP and then take it from there.
