Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

I am an F1 visa holder. I was studying at University of North Alabama until Fall semester of 2010, then i transferred to Lee University located in Cleveland Tennessee. After 1 semester at Lee University I transferred back to University of North Alabama on Fall semester 2011 and have been taking classes since then. At the beginning of Spring semester 2012 when i was trying to register for my classes my international student adviser told me that my Sevis status have been terminated by Lee University because University of North Alabama didn't send my acceptance letter to them, but it was not my fault. They told me to go back to my country and apply for a new visa and they told me that they will provide me with a new I-20. After i done my research i found out that i could apply for reinstatement, but they said there was nothing they can do! now I'm out of status and willing to apply for reinstatement of my F1 status. in order to do this i have to keep taking classes but i couldn't find a college that is going to accept me with my terminated status. I would like to talk to an immigration lawyer and solve this problem as soon as possible and get my status back.

Hello:

Assuming you did not work while being out of status and are still in the U.S. it is possible to apply for reinstatement so that you can get back into status, but it must be done properly.
