Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

Defamation or Harassment

Would I have legal recourse against a NJ employer (I live in MO) who continually berates me both verbally and via email. He often copies others who are subordinate to me. He uses foul language and makes comments such as ''get your head out of your ass''. He trys to manage by intimidation, name calling and degrading statements. Do I have any recourse? I have copies of most all of the emails.

Re: Defamation or Harassment

In order to answer your questions, I would like to have some more information. Typcially, mistreatment generically by an employer is not actionable. However, if the conduct reaches a certain level or of certain types, then it may be actionable.

I would suggest you contact Richard Marcolus of my office, 800-34 NJ LAW to discuss.
