Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

Can I download a petition for expungement or do I physically have to go to the county courthouse. I was arrested, then released because i had a warrant for a missed courtdate. When i went to court, the case was dismissed and thrown out. Because I am a teacher, I want the arrest taken off my record, in case I later decide to switch districts.

Thanks in advance.

I have done lots of expungements, the procedure is simple and fairly speedy. That is, IF you qualify for expungement. You may be able to do it on your own, ask the Clerk of the Court for the county courthouse for your county. Call me if you want me to assist, it is not hard and not expensive.

I would call an attorney to help you handle this. You now have at least two you can call.
