Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

I was employed as a camp counselor at 40 plus hours a week. I worked the entire summer. My employer- YMCA camp submitted my w4 as 10 hours at a pay rate of $26 per hour instead of the actual pay rate of $3.32 an hour for 80 hours. Deductions are figured on thus rate if $26 an hour. I'm 19. Isn't this illegal , shouldn't we be paid minimum wage or have it stated accutately on our w4 ?They also deducted $12 fir the t- shirt we were required to wear. We also got no breaks from 8:15- 5pm and were required to work three weeks early shift or late ( an additional 2 hours). We ate lunch while serving the kids. Are there any labor laws protecting us?

what YMCA did is shameful. I am not in your area, so it does not make sense for you to use me. You can file a claim with the NJ Dept of Labor, for unpaid wages. go to http://lwd.dol.state.nj.us/labor/wagehour/content/wage_and_hour_forms.html

better than that, see if you can get an attorney near you to help you. that is just wrong.
